Privacy policy
Last revised 6 August 2026
This policy describes what SaaS Compare (saascheapest.com) actually collects. It is deliberately short, because the site does very little. It is maintained by Rodrigo Krohling, who is also the contact for any request under this policy.
What we collect
There is no account system and no login. We do not ask for your name, and we do not build a profile of you. Specifically, the site stores:
- Your theme choice
- Light or dark, kept in your browser's local storage under
theme. It never leaves your device. - Your cookie choice
- Kept in local storage under
cookie-consentso the banner does not reappear on every page. It never leaves your device. - What you type into the contact form
- Your name, email address, subject and message, sent to Resend which delivers it to our inbox. Used to reply to you and nothing else. Not added to any mailing list.
What we do not do
An earlier version of this policy described Google Analytics tracking in detail. That was wrong: no analytics tool has ever been installed on this site. It also referred to a "Data Protection Officer", a role that does not exist here. Both have been removed.
As of the date above, this site has:
- no analytics or measurement scripts of any kind;
- no advertising scripts loaded (see below);
- no social media pixels, session recording, heatmaps or fingerprinting;
- no affiliate or partner tracking links;
- no email list and no newsletter.
Should any of that change, this page is updated before the change goes live. The disclosure page tracks the commercial side.
Server logs
The site is static and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — to serve pages and protect against abuse. We do not add to those logs, query them, or use them to identify visitors. Cloudflare's handling is covered by its own privacy policy.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. The two preferences described above use local storage, not cookies, and are strictly functional.
If display advertising is enabled in future, Google AdSense and its partners will set cookies to select and measure ads. Those scripts load only after you accept advertising cookies in the banner — until then nothing from Google is requested. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer, and opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
Third parties that receive data
- Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery; processes requests as above.
- Resend — delivers contact-form messages by email.
- Google AdSense — only if you consent to advertising cookies, and only once advertising is enabled.
Product logos are loaded from third-party image hosts, which means those hosts see a request from your browser when a logo renders.
Retention
Contact-form messages are kept in our email inbox for as long as needed to handle the correspondence. Preferences stored in your browser stay until you clear your browser data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the EU/UK, the CCPA/CPRA in California, and Brazil's LGPD — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port data about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Given how little is collected, in practice this usually concerns an email you sent us.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is aimed at people evaluating business software. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
International transfers
The site operator is based in the United States, and the service providers listed above operate globally. Data you send through the contact form may be processed outside your country.
Changes
Changes to this policy take effect when posted here, with the revision date updated at the top.
